I was at yesterday's game and I'll tell you exactly why the Sox won the game, and believe me dickie, it was most definitely NOT you marvelous starter.
Matt Thornton came in and shut us down when we were heating up in the middle innings - that was a minor factor. The biggest thing was that your guys took
advantage of a howling wind out to left center. We didn't.

2 Series remarkably similar both going to the home team with sweeps.
In both cases 1 close game and 2 resounding victories. Both teams maintain 1st place in their own divisions, White Sox increased to 1 1/2 game lead while the Cubs lead decreased to 2 1/2. One half the season is over. Sox now take on Cleveland and the Cubs head out to San Francisco. ![]()
